Entrapment

Entwined in perfection
Entangled in love
Trapped in dreams
Ensnared like a dove

Perfection that no
dream can have
Sturdiness like no
reality can provide
Safety with only
love as a guide

But the knot came undone
the perfection was gone
The dreams all disappeared
The dove was strangled

All that is left
is love
Suffocated, trampled bleeding
Begging for release
