Entranced and Enchanted
I never meant to fall in love with you
but the first time we met I was entranced
was it your yellow golden hair
was it your blue eyes like a clear lake
(in which I was drowning)
perhaps it was your voice like a drifting melody
but, I was enchanted and I loved you with all my heart
oh, what a wild whirlwind romance
and then you were asking me to marry you
and I whispered yes into your ear . . .
