Entourage of Disappointments

Whispering winds traveled silently
Entourage of disappointments
Lacking no flamboyance
Suddenly yet violently
Came knocking on my door
Shameless audacity
Challenged my veracity
I did not want more
I evened out the score

Gale force winds attacked
Ripped away the memories
and tore with heavy scorn
tossed away the presumption
A new wind was born

The winds of change had come
But this time did not play
They came adversity to slay
The wind of silence has begun
And so it would remain
Engaging disappointment
We shall now refrain
Permanent the stain
