Entertaining Our Little Brother

ENTERTAINING OUR LITTLE BROTHER

He's so tiny, compared to us
And doesn't make too much fuss
He's pretty good most of the time
He somehow makes life so sublime

We don't understand how one so small
Can even do anything at all
He watches everything we do
Then goes to sleep when playtime's through

We do the same thing every day
But it's still such fun for us to play
And keep this little brother of ours
Entertained for hours and hours

Then one day, when we are grown
We'll wonder where the time has gone
Looking back, maybe we'll discover
The joy we had entertaining our brother

Curtis, I loved your write, brought back memories of how I felt over my younger siblings. Thank you for entering my contest. Congratulations on your win! Hugs Eve ~`*

:) This is a sweet write. I don't have a younger brother. I have two older ones. I love the filial love you describe here. Thank you for your visit to my poem, never Shame a Woman. Your comment was awe inspiring.
