Entertained While It Rained
Thought of writing poems have entertained;
What I did end up with and still remained
Total nonsense;
Did seem dense;
The presence of my poems others pained.

Favorite Poets and Singers
My favorite poets are Frost, Rogers and Nash;
Singers always Baez, Kingston Trio and Cash;
To society a boon,
And always in tune;
Even Beethoven if I were to be rather brash.

I said Lord give me Your guidance and direction,
And teach me way to get through each section
Of life and be sure to show me your special ways;
Never leaving my side while you are my guide;
Lord I never lied and with you do want to ride.
