Enough To Make You Weep

We,
      have the right
      to curtail life,
                              death
      was their call..
murder
        the young,unborn;

       All lied...
       the trickle
       became a torrent..
       but no one
       cried

but God....

We,
      have the right
      to curtail life,
                              death
      again,they call..
murder
      the old,long-born;

       All lies...
       the trickle
       will be a torrent..
       no one
       cries..

but God

VERY nicely done, Brian. What a great ending line: no one cries. . . but God. a profound statement in your poem.

Sad that this is happening everyday..God equates it with murder..Great topic and presentation..My diamond is still in the rough but thank God it is going to be a gem someday..Thanks for the honor of placing in your contest..Sara
