Enough

You’ve done me wrong
Time and time again
It’s hard to believe
I once called you my friend

Enough is enough
To myself I will stay true
I no longer feel the need
To hang with the likes of you

Now you try to act like you care
But I know you never did
You always worried about yourself
You act like such a kid

You’ve put me down
And pushed me too far
You may have started the battle
But I will win the war

You claim to have “wasted your time”
Being friends with someone so low
Well I agree it was just a waste
I regret it more than you know

Clouds always have a silver lining
It’s time that I can say
I can finally live my life
Now that our friendship’s out of the way
