Enough

Redeemed, if barely
I’m half way there
Half way to success
Half way to repair
I passed my tests and worked my best
I moved my mind and made a life
I hope it was enough

I quite that Habit
As best I could
As quick and quite
As much as I could
I threw away my bad old crutch
And made a little bit more peace
I hope it was enough

I come home baring hope
Peace as close as I can come
Summer here and light
Brightest calls even in the night
Summer here and hot and glaring
Home I run and carried my weight a little lighter
I hope it was enough
