Enlighten Me

What light fades within your presence?
For light exists, if only through thee
Your beauty shines from your essence
For it exists both internal and externally

My mere self, wanes when near to thee
I am but a shell, just skin, au visage
Allow me then your light so I can see
I am then filled by you, I’m assuaged
