Enjoying Winter's Sparkling Wonderland

I enter the outside crystal palace into winter’s magnificent display where wild and free imaginations place importance; and inspiring thoughts convey a higher meaning in nature’s own way. Snow sparkles squint vision with sunlight’s ray. A power delaying comprehension of beauty and splendor for the pilgrim. Adjusted eyes view nature’s invention like a child with an enormous prism, or poem with elaborate rhythm; fresh powdered snow’s sensationalism. It seems a shame to spoil snow’s smooth surface with footprints moving any direction, or even with straight lines made on purpose. They damage winter’s glorious perfection, disrupting morning’s sunlight reflection with remnants of a lover’s affection. Forgive, sparkling wonderland, my footprints deep That cut into and marred your beauty steep!

Oh my!! Your thoughts leave me breathless. Even if I wanted to, I would never glide along the glistening beauty of these words. Fall deeply in nature's white confetti. The sweet touch of snow. This painting that you have created, is beautiful. I only wish to cherish the moment. ~ Brandy

Yes, fresh snow is a painting. Nothing can be done to improve it--we only scar its delicate tissue. Thank you again for your kind words. - Gerry
