Enigmas

Hidden within Precambrian rock
Lies "a tiny mystery"
A veiled secret in the dark
A puzzling piece of history
A radioactive photograph
A polonium halo possibly

Buried in a cryptic curtain
Its secret may elude us
But what's certain
Should we presume to solve this riddle
We'll be hurled back in the middle
Of more dilemmas or enigmas endlessly

Oh my, with the first verse, sounds like you're an archeologist or a geologist! Second verse, I feel guilty, the last thing intended is a drawn out community soap opera. I never watch them and have no plans of keeping this up, I'm sorry :(. I don't think it fixes anything, but might drive everyone, cared for, around the bend.

If trees would speak and rock could talk, surely we'd "be hurled back in the middle of more dilemmas". Might the sedimentary cry out that they'd been squished and flattened? Igneous and metamorphic may screech as they are plundered? Basalt might feel safe, until off shore mining happens? Gotta love those "Tiny Mysteries", Jon.:) Keep well!! Mikki :)

Amazing to think what the coming years will reveal, when we know that everything, even rock, is loaded with untapped energy. Imagine flying space ships with crushed rock in the fuel tank. Good stuff, Jon. Love, daver

Striking, the distance between enigma and time. Jon, very good write indeed. It brought me to another place I can't explain in my minds, I like to think I have seen as you did while putting it to words. However, these are dilemmas I wish not to think of....Thanks..always~ Linda

A tiny mystery; well I don't know about that. Maybe it's better to leave things as they are. Than somebody else might think different. Thanks for sharing.... Lucilla

Indeed, I am sure there will be many explanations for this phenomenon. For man is such a curious creature that he will never stop trying to unravel the mysteries of the universe
