Enigma Recited
ENIGMA
Quiet,calm still snapshots
of life,hints of unsaid romance.
Girls,girls,Vermeer’s girls.Haiku
moments captured on canvas.
Indelible images seared deep
in memory.Unsolved enigmas
of yesteryear,conjecture preserved
in paint.Silent sounds echo
into the museum of memories
and yet remains forever now
a mystery.
