Enigma

ENIGMA by JOHN M. ARRIBAS I Know Not from Whence I Came, Hence Where I Went Only Those Fractional Instances: Here on Earth, I Spent Was it a Stage of Development? Was it an Examination? Was it a Preparatory Venture Providing Illumination Was I a Specimen in Controlled Environment, Observed Exposed to Frequent Stimuli, Constantly Unnerved Was I the Accidental Creation, So Many, Many Eons Ago When Natural Forces Collided Starting the Human Show Or Was There an Omnipotent, Divine, Absolute Being Molded Us into the Creatures, We Are Portraying Or Was it a Great Spirit That Arose from Mother Earth Giving Breath and Conscience: Orchestrating Birth Or Are We the Discards from an Advanced Civilization The Flotsam, the Detritus Left to Our Own Antiquation Or Are We an Illusion with No Reason, Nor Cause An Imaginary Existence Graced by Natural Laws Are We a Recurring Troupe That Never Leaves the Stage Offering Different Roles to Play, Exiting to re Engage When the Tour of Existence Ends, to Where Do We Go? To an Unending Sabbatical, Or; a Punishment below Or Does the Journey Continue to a Place We All Meet At the Ends of Infinity Where Parallel Lines Meet Its an Enigma, a Conundrum, That Constantly Grows Ask Any Holy Men, They’ll All Tell You They Know The Eternal Enigma Cause No One is in the Know
