People say English is easy.

And how about slang!... And how about our almost nonexistent (at this point) grammar rules?... It's tough. I know. I taught ESL for 30 years. An uphill battle often... Good point, Caren!

English is SO difficult to learn, most especially when one speaker is Welsh, Scottish, English, Canadian, Australian, African, American, etc.! German is MUCH easier to learn, but it would be best if everyone spoke French because if I ask a girl to bed in France, she replies either, "oui" or "non"; either way, her lips are pursed and ready to be kissed! And just to add to the confusion dumb - why the d, lamb, why the b, tomb, why the b, muscle, why the c and plaque, why not k, biscuit , why the u, could go on forever, I think English is the most difficult language to master. Blessings and hugs, Jennifer.

Jennifer, when my six year old nephew was mad at his grandpa he made a sign that said "Grandpa is so Dom". We laughed about it all day long. I had forgotten this until now.
