Dear Sara, it's about WWII..when Russia was defending herself against Hitler's invasion-officers knew they couldn't hold positions but would send in the young "untrained" recruits to be killed and if they refused they were shot instantly.this one recruit (Jude Law) played dead, lying amongst the dead waiting to escape. Finally a brave Russian..not a soldier, managed to sneak in at which time, they both discovered each other, and so began the young recruit's road to glory..he became a famous sharp shooter known nationwide for killing hundreds of nazi officers. It's an old movie- 2009, I think
