Endurance of Love

When we began our adoring journey I’d committed I’d walk you forever on garden path I’d make for you. If flowers wilt, the promise breaks on wrecked path would you still love me? A pink rose hued with love I never failed to give you on your birthday I’d marked as the red lettered day. If the dust of time hides the day in my misty memory would you still love me? Under sun-flooded azure sky we walked life together, you as a part of me, the second shadow inseparable. On stormy night if I’m gone, leave you alone agonized would you still love me? My charisma made me the cynosure of your doting eyes, my youthful flair lighted the candle of your fiery passion. When in twilight hour you’d see my wrinkled charm wane would you still love me?
