Endorse the Course
Endorse the Course
Why was it God's work we would never heed
When with Him we should be so well-agreed
Ran short of time to avoid the swift stampede
Knowing it is loving Lord who we now need.
My Savior should it have always been I
That no matter how hard will ever try
All of my sins at home had stopped by
Causing me much anguish and also to cry.
Dead, kind body on Cross was bitter sweet
Removed all nails from wrist and both feet
Covered Christ's body with a clean sheet
And one day soon again His Father will meet.
Cruelly on cross His life ceased and would expire
And He arose towards heaven higher and higher
We were left with many straits seeming so dire
Our hearts burned inside like fire on a pyre.
We became frantic with new-found remorse
As God's Son returned to His original source
Jesus wants us all to walk on His true course
Believe in Him and everything he will endorse.
