Endless Walk

i walk the empty streets
where have all the people gone
perhaps they walk in different shoes
and sing to different songs

i walk the empty streets
no cobblers do i see
when first i came we all were game
is anyone hearing me

i walk the empty streets
not even the rats retreat
no sign or sound resound
i find it quite profound

this place it has no glory
am i in purgatory
should i be at heavens gate
perhaps it is to late...

The confusion is described so well, Sharon. It's hard to imagine "empty streets" such as those you describe. It's almost like something I once saw on Twilight Zone. You will find your way to heaven's gate, Sharon, but let's hope that we can have you here for many more years. Love, Carolyn
