A lame duck in life Left with only his rhymes Persistent and subtle Left to wither in time In life left with no rebuttle Only his inferior rhymes Life do me no favors taking time My hopless persistence in a worthless rhyme

Good evening Harry! A wonderful verse that walks through areas where many and most of us have travelled. I've felt this: "hopeless persistence in a worthless rhyme", but if writing is what you truly enjoy, it will come along and sweep you off your feet!
