Endless Scream
on the periphery of that crumbling foundation
on the lawn among the sturdy trunks
next to the leaves on the ground
we wait for her arrival
but not even the frightened song of birds
or the furious wind between the trees
prepared our weak hearts
for the grandeur of that contempt
she slipped through the woods
passing directly by us
she stopped on the heaped stones
she clasped her hands and chanted
that was like an endless scream
some say they saw her levitate and disappear
but i don't even think about it anymore
now i have these horrible curses
look like a thousand stains on the soul
and one by one I try to rip it out of me
