Endless like the Stars

I've spoken to countless women over the years who feel unseen in their relationships. This is especially evident once they become moms. It's as though you can't have children and have your own identity. Well, ladies. You are unique & special. You are loved & cherished. And yes, being a mom is a great thing and a great life... But you are more than 1 label. You are endless like the stars.

Hey sweet lady
Beautiful lady
I see you 
With tears in your eyes 

I can feel the sadness there
The haunting of years and miles
I can feel your hurt and pain
How life with him is trying

I know that it can be difficult
To hold on to yourself
You're a wife and a mother
You seldom have time to dwell

And as the years go on and on
Like a train passing over the Alps
You feel like everyone else has moved on
You're bereft of a sense of self

But I'm here to tell you
To remind you, you're a special Soul
No one in the Universe is you
You were born to be fierce and bold

Because...

You are endless like the Stars
They shine no matter what they say
You are endless like the Stars
Your inner Light is glorious

You are endless like the Stars
Your beauty shines for all to see
You are endless like the Stars
Never forget you're loved dearly

You've spent a Lifetime
Tending to other hearts
You've loved and cherished
Every single loved one's start

You've spent too many years
Feeling lost and invisible
Unseen and unheard in the noise
Always putting everyone else first

And sometimes when you look back
To the person you once were
You wonder where your spark went
Your vibrant colours and allure

But please never forget it
That you get to have victories too
You can forge your own identity
Enjoy time to spend on you

Because...
