Endings

My brain is screaming, but my heart doesn’t seem to care.
I want to believe that your truth isn’t lies; that your love isn’t a waste of my time.
A round of tug war with you and I
I want to let the rope go, but you won’t let me, you grasp my hands in place while you hold me.
Your embrace is warm yet so cold.
To you I’m everything yet I’m nothing compared to you.
I see your pain as I tell you to let go to leave this mess and fined happiness.
So let go, let go, let go so only I can suffer.

Line 1: thoughts conflicting love Line 2: investment of love and life Line 3: War! Line 4 : He keeps you there -- in turmoil Line 5: His mysterious hold on you Line 6: You think he is someone you may have never thought you could have Line 7: Giving him a way out Line 8: Your gift to him: leave me so you can 'live' Interesting. I was there once. Matter of fact, many times until I realized my own worth. Peace be with you!
