Endings

When it's all said and done
and there's no one left
to talk with. My body shall
rest like a fallen tree
and all to soon forgotten
as if I never existed
at all

Know this -Take heart
everything dies
in its own good time

Thoughts of mortality inspire me to enjoy this adventure and hope for another and I surely share your feelings Allen. A thought provoking piece!!

Everything dies in its own time I agree but it always leaves behind with karma on its tail and soul hoping to sail again in warmer waters. Love your poetry Allen, Have a wonderful day, hugs
