End the Day

end the day
fire is the night
freedom on the end
of a candle

the wick slowly burns
gorilla warfare
ak 47 smothers all the
brothers , new species

candle flickers and fades
from your eyes you die
crusted figurines burnt
with charred smiles

gone before the new
tomorrow , is faded
we live for the cause
that will save us from one another

boom boom out goes the light
no do overs left the war was
the ultimate test
one more second of life

one more life taken in a second
fully automatic lines been drawn
boarders stretched beyond the known
back there left in your garden clone

for their candle burns
like a funeral pyre
calling all forward
to bring your dead

when was it said that life is
better on the other side?
i have been there with and with out light
i will water my garden more often
