End of Days

From out of the dark
Flickers a spark
A light shining bright from afar
-- A shooting star --

What can it be?
We cannot see
A ball of molten rock on fire
is what it is to me

Hit the earth
Witness re-birth
Genesis all over again
Will we endure?

Cannot tell
In thought we dwell
Will it be a super nova
or a super-cell

Screwed either way, it's hard to say
How to feel...
When you know it's now the end of days.
