End of Day

Poet: Ken Jordan
Poem: End Of Day
Edited By: Sparkle Jordan
written: July/1986

At the end
      of a long day
 when the sun
      waltz away,
to knock on
      Heaven's door -

The dusk
      of twilight
hears the call,
      and
fades into night -

The moon
       awaken
to shine it's glow,
       then
open Heaven's
       gate -

Within a twinkle
       of an eye,
little gleaming stars,
       burst through
the sky,
        and
smile down
        on the world -
