Encumber
I toss and turn sweat and burn
hellish nightmares rob my slumber
Deep and dark blackens my heart
for my soul less soul encumber
The devil's laugh mocks my mind
into the spider's web I struggle entwine
Falling hard into the sound
my armless body sure to drown
I scream and scream without a sound
for by guilty sins I am bound
Wake in fright
against the night
I shake cold but burn bright
staring into the haunting light
of demon eyes of ghastly fright
Every deed i did wrong
full in my ears sirens song
Into myself wrong
damn the night eternal long
Trapped in hole pitch black
begging for mercy that's lack
Slimy things crawl through me
I only feel but never see
Sleep shallow and conscious render
grounded into the devil's blender
Stale my body frail my being
encumbered by wicked dreams
Encumber
