Dear Edward, Grow out your wings first before you flap them, little bird. Your wings aren't strong enough to fly just yet; keep your feet firmly planted on the ground, for now. Keep the wheels of your dreams spinning; it will pay dividends in the future. Keep burning that midnight oil to make every dream of yours a reality, and stay true to that mission Someday your wings will take you to dizzying heights. Take advantage of every opportunity that presents itself, big or small. The world is your oyster. The sky is the limit for you You can accomplish anything you set your mind to. Forge your own path. Pursue... your passion with unbridled zeal. Anything you're good at or enjoy doing, do it the best you possibly can and do it contently. Don't let self-doubt defeat you. Do not fall prey to self-fulfilling prophecy. Laugh in the face of your naysayers, and refuse to allow them to define you. Your time to shine is now, today; right this very moment! Take constructive criticism, not as a slight but as inspirational fuel. Don't let anyone dictate when you should have your place in the sun. Grow out your wings, little bird, and soar to the heavens! This is wonderfully written, full of sage advice. I could not believe how wise it is. "Laugh in the face of your naysayers, and refuse to allow them to define you." I wish every child in the world understood this. I wish we had T-shirts printed in every country on every continent that said this, Edward.
