Enchanted Kiss

As the sun finally, silently
slips from view
I sit and I watch
and I think of you
while low clouds gather
laden with rain
I watch and I wait
with thoughts of you again

then droplets gently fall at last
and with them
the evenings spell is cast
then slowly drift I
unto that realm
that magical world
where dreams are held

Then there you are
 in that far away land
walking toward me
with your outstretched hand
and welcome me to this land of bliss
with a soft and warm
enchanted kiss

The rain holds a breathtaking melody, one that I enjoy being lost in. Cotton candy clouds caress a tender sky- as the wind whispers. Gently. You have created a masterpiece. This is so beautiful and romantic. :) Brandy

And that is how it should be. A tender embrace, "with a soft and warm enchanted kiss" I like this version. Breathtaking indeed. :) Brandy

Thank you Brandy! Very glad that you liked it. It seems however that all of the poem didn't make it to the page, i.e., i have a bit of editing to do.
