Enchanted Forest

In a small town not too distant from an enchanted forest lived a little orphan girl named Dinah. She was attired in raggedy clothes and her shoes had holes in them. One day as she was walking along the lane a huge dog began chasing her, she ran and ran as fast as she could, until she entered the enchanted forest. She could still hear the dog growling so deeper and deeper into the woods she ventured. As sunlight dappled through the tall trees she heard the sound of water nearby, and soon she came upon a crystal clear river. A few yards from the river she noticed a mirror hanging from a lofty oak. Her curiosity began to grow and soon it got the better of her, so she walked up to the mirror and gazed into it. Suddenly the mirror began to glow and a voice said: "Tell me lass your wish for me and I will make you who you wish to be". Dinah thought for a while and then said: "Mirror mirror on this tree a beautiful princess I want to be" Immediately she was transformed into a beautiful princess. A few minutes later a handsome prince rode by and when he saw Princess Dinah he fell in love with her. He lifted her up and they rode off to his castle in the enchanted forest.. 1-30-19 A Fairy Tale For Children Contest Sponsor: Eve Roper

Sometimes, wishing for a little sparkle in your life is never a bad thing. Those that have everything, should appreciate what they have. For someone like Dinah, she was content with her surroundings. Her heart, being humble- when asked what her wish would be. Yes, she wanted to be a princess. Of course. :) This is beautiful. Such a magical story indeed. ~ Brandy
