En Carnival

 God, smiling
Gave to men license
Sing in Joy 
Dance in love
Merge body and soul
Raise ye up the Holy din
To God's ears

In Samba
Writhe orgiastic 
Sweetly sweat
Crying out
The birth pangs of life
In joyous recognition
Of His gift
