Empyrean Bliss
you are an enigma of empyrean bliss,
captivated am I by your astounding
tenderness-
before time prevailed in the hourglass
of existence you became my blanket
of fleece in the dead freeze of winter.
warmth encompassed me like blazing
embers from a kindled flame, and that’s
what my heart still does, my love-
it burns for you.
if you needed a bridge, I’d link one to heaven’s gates-
if you needed my tears, I’d cry an ocean for you.
saturated in forsaken memories was I
before our different dimensions crossed,
and love struck me like a lightning bolt-
and it still does, my love-
it strikes when you caress me.
if you needed the night, I’d contrive an ebon sky-
if you needed the rain, I’d shower with pleasure.
for you are an enigma of empyrean bliss...
