Empty Spaces

Empty spaces
  crying to be filled
  the flow of nothingness
  creeping in,
  taking over.
Where are you going?
  If this is time
  if this is love
  than why
  the emptiness?
Darkness seeping in
  overtaking light
  spirits of the night
  awakened
to fill all the empty spaces.
Let me see
  open wide my eyes
  blink at the twinkling stars
  offf in the distant crevices
  whispering my name.
