Empty Space

Reaching out to infinitude
when words have come to an end.
		Yan Yu

Presence, without;
the space framed
but left empty.
Mountains float
as a fisherman
ignores, wishing
only for a fish
to feed his family.

Empty space is
space for us
to not ignore.
We fill it with
our emptiness –
and together
the picture paints
your presence.

This is an excellent poem, my dear friend of God's inspirational grace, Chas. I love the flow of the words and the impact of the message regarding "Empty Space." The descriptive excellence is lovely and sends terrific images. The theme of "Space" stands out, and the tone and tenor move the piece down the page with much grace. Great job! Have a fantastic day, with God's richest grace and blessings always. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/53812816-sincerely-speaking-spiritually.
