Empty Pages -Quatern-

Empty pages lie in my mind Pondering about what to write, Words are blurred, I feel like I'm blind While I sit here so late at night. I venture in the dark places Empty pages lie in my mind, All I find is lonely spaces Lost words floating, as if confined. Catching up, but falling behind Trying to find some bit of light, Empty pages lie in my mind Words to paper, they must unite. I will never give up my fight Darkness and words remain entwined, Behind a door, locked up airtight Empty pages lie in my mind. Copyright © Cynthia Jones Nov.20/2004

I've been there and done that, so many times. Still, I write my best pieces during 12-5am.

Sometimes, the flow of words come pretty quick and other others are just by the road to be picked up. Thank you M.L. for reading and commenting. I truly appreciate it. *S* Cynthia
