empty bench

An empty bench is never homeless~
               as it shelters golden prints
               of amethyst heartbeats,
               engraved as souvenirs,
               for whatever tomorrow's
               dawn may bestow.

mmhmm... i like to sit on a bench and soak of the aura of its memories... who has it listened to? How many times has it comforted a tired traveler? How big is its compassion to allow yet another sleepy blanket-bound rester?

Dear Ink, your poem is a deeply introspective and profound piece that evokes profound emotions. The empty bench serves as a symbol of both darkness and light, offering a welcoming space for contemplation to tired travelers. Indeed, this composition evokes a strong emotional response. Your concise language holds significant emotional significance, dear companion. I wish you and your loved ones a joyful Christmas and a prosperous new year.

It does harbor goodwill--an invitation to life--an empty bench welcomes! Kudos for reading its mind, Ink.

A deep analogy and use of metaphorical language in your verse to express the hollowness you feel, but seem content.. like you are counting your blessings around you, despite certain people not respecting your boundaries.. i guess.. The poem's brevity contributes to its impact, allowing each word to carry weight and significance. The eloquent language and carefully chosen metaphors create a sense of poetic elegance, inviting readers to reflect on the enduring nature of emotional imprints of you.

In essence, this poem celebrates the idea that even in stillness and apparent emptiness, there exists a richness of emotion and history, transforming the ordinary into something extraordinary.. The most important thing my poetic friend is not to let your heart turn into wood... keep polishing it.. how else will you shine?

Wow, this is such a deep and resonating poem, you've conveyed so much emotions within few words.. "An empty bench is never homeless" A very thought-provoking and heartfelt line it is.. That empty bench is never homeless as it shelters those reveries either of darkness or light.. It shelters the reminiscent golden prints of amethyst heartbeats which may weave the scintillating tapestries of tomorrows.. What a marvelous write dear Ink, this is truly soul-touching. Keep writing and shining, wow :)
