I have gone inner today- I have fallen deep
so dark and deep to escape the h o u r g l a s s of time-
Sun kisses me and wraps me in warmth that I weep,
the sand of life is ticking away- tick t i c k tick
And in my trance all is so tranquil and sublime
but I feel so E M P T Y and trapped behind glass thick.
I MUST break free- and kick until the glass SHATTERS
for to waste a m o m e n t of this life is a crime.
The sands of time click but living is what MATTERS . . .
a b u t t e r f l y drifts on my rosemary and thyme.
