Empty

learning how to empty this heart
can you ease my load
full of pride to start
masked in injustice so cold
memories of bruises and scares
will not let go for now
primal screams of the fear
young boy beaten how
all around me the voices are unclear
your masks are undetectable
so who are you
sliding through this life undetectable
you made me believe i am the fool
help me to forgive the hurt
help me to find myself
help me to understand i was the victim
help me to understand it was not my fault
