Empty

Yearning for threading hands
into a pit of endless need.

Crying for soft lips
trailing down my
bloodied limbs.

Praying for that soft embrace
that people dedicate lives for.

Grasping for the mindless
following and devotion
that blesses the soul.

Craving for the sweet eyes
Swimming in a familiar pair of empty orbs.

This is all I wish for.
But as time passes on
And love becomes unknown,
When will I finally save myself and
Embrace the void.

Aah, Jude. This is an excellent capture of the feeling of void, what seems to be a waiting between time. A concise concrete title with two good beginning lines. I enjoyed the format & last two lines have staying power. Well done in Contest. Keep writing, ~ sending blessings to you., Ghairo.
