Emptiness

Theirs a big empty space within my soul
There’s a void and incomplete gap, I cannot close

I am like the wave of the ocean
I am full yet empty
I am rough yet smooth

I am far yet near
I am crafty yet cunning
I am enticing yet deceitful

I am a friend yet an enemy
I love yet I manipulate
I smile but you know neither my tale nor my pain

I have few stories yet many secrets
I am a victim within my own tale

I am that reflection you see
When looking into the deep blue sea
I am invisible yet broken

I am that mirror
Looking back at you
What do you see?

Yourself.
