Emptiness

My soul is a snowy
               midnight.
The night that holds all my
           sorrow and fright.
     An emptiness, a lonesome,
           into which I dive,
the hopes and joys I no
             longer strive.

     I'm locked in darkness,
           a bitter sweet, the
               joys of love
            I can not heed.

      It wears a cloak of
            darkest blue
      My troubled heart,it
             always knew.
