Empathy Is More Than Sympathy

Who has been too lonely?
and looked for empathy?
People aren't treated fairly by society:
they'll do anything for
some moments shared together;
hey, sad heart come closer:
I'll make your loneliness disappear,
with my kiss of dripping with honey!

Empathy is more than sympathy,
it stays inside as any good memory;
have you asked me if I went through bad days...
clinched my fist to the rainy sky and cursed fate?
My wish was sunshine, not darkness...
each thought and scream was filled with hate!

Who's about to sit down and cry?
I'm hearing the lonely one singing,
all he needs is somebody by his side;
stop by and listen to what he's saying:
he'll show you to get rid of all pride
and teach you how to get wings and fly!

Empathy is more than sympathy,
it does what love can't do sometime;
if someone is wrongly ditched
after being tricked and used:
let no heart feel misery, throw no dice!
Empathy is more than sympathy!
