Emotions

Emotions 

They tend to be all over
Never wore them on my shoulder 
Now that I'm getting older 
I realize 
That it's OK to feel
Something as long as it is real
It's OK to know that your emotions 
Have power 
You can go from happy to mad or turn sour
Or be a flower 
So delicate and sweet
Or be the one that's discreet 
Not weak
Maybe take an adventure be curious go to the ocean
Remember it's OK to have emotions

Emotions 
Can you control them
Your feelings can you hold them
Inside
When it seems hard
Will you deal the correct cards
Emotions sometimes seem
Like they can take over everything

Today i was just
At the point 
Where I'd had enough
Then out of nowhere 
I started crying 
Was this a normal act 
I didn't know I was sensitive like that 
And then I started to
See things with a different view 
That I had a heart so pure and true
Realized being sensitive is ok
Any emotions you display 
Has precautions 
You have to use the best ones often
And with the emotions that are not the best
You should use them less
