Emotions

Each day I tell myself
never let my emotions
take over me

Sometimes the people who walk in our lives
may seem so faithful
but they walk out on us
and treat us like dirt

Only if they knew
it is themselves they hurt
So emotions run away
I’ll never feel pity fo you
your love is the one
I erase

As I look back
and never noticed
how you upright lied to my face

When you knew
you love is
the only one I chase
Your choices are base

As I show you the door
please don’t come back here anymore

Now that I’m free
no more of your chains holding me
as far as I can see

Emotions try to take over me
but now I won’t cry
I won’t blame myself for what you’ve done
so much love I’ve shown and you broke my heart
You try to find little things to blame me for
All you try to hide were your wrongdoings
I’m here to tell you
you’ll never find another who’ll love you like me

Emotions run away
Emotions I fight
you’re not worth a cry
So I won’t give this another try
