Emotional waves
As I stand on a pebble beach
Staring out west
Waves crashing, licking my toes
The icy waters stinging my toes
The tingle up my body
Grounding myself into nature
The magnificent abyss staring me down
Full of promise and hope
Angels and demons rest in the vastness
Natures immense power on display
Fear of the unknown beyond the horizon
A moment of solitude defines my path
This is where I feel safe
