Emotional Juxtaposition

When life's hard and there's no easy way out, When emotions war, yet the world's at peace, When you're sure that others around you doubt, When tears increase and joys simply decrease, When people laugh and you just seem to cry, When in life's smooth race, rough hurdles you face, When every dream becomes nightmarish sigh, When sad rejections you gladly embrace, Remember inexperience matures, And sorrows fade for the one who endures. 11.23.2020 For Silent One's "Juxtaposition" contest
