Emotion

If you could see a feeling
What would it look like?
Maybe the radiant hues of the desert sunrise
Or even the contour of the land’s peaks and valleys
The most powerful aspect of human life
Ever complex
Never understood
The sounds of your presence….
Often never heard
The true silent killer
Knowing no limitations
Possessing the force and will to control
We fall before you
At your mercy
Thanking you…
Scorning you…
Cursing you…
And loving you
What would come of the world…
…If we didn’t have you?
