Emma
"Emma" is a classic name, Jane Austen brought to claim
with a story rich of timeless grace, of a genteel English dame
A name that fit her many moods, guile match-making imposed,
for she'd twinkle mischief in her eyes... with cheeks the color rose
She meddled in the ways of love, impatient as the seasons
Twirling like a whirlwind, never needing any reason
An imp of privileged beauty, like a butterfly's cocoon
She was living on the threshold, of an eager springtime bloom
Summer glistened in her curly locks, winter hid behind her pout
Love came drifting down like autumn leaves, ...there was never any doubt!
