Emerald of the Jungle
Shimmering green,
A lustrous jewel hidden in the forest.
Shining with life,
A silent, sharp cut.
Blazing with dreams,
The love of the forest held within
Glimmering with hope,
The iris of the ferocious amazon.
Glinting with unrevealing glee,
It holds its’ secrets.
Camouflaged in darkened leaves,
Holding a smile within.
A predatory growl,
Its’ ferocious color gleaming.
Slowly, an eye twinkles in the foreboding dark.
The lion’s heart.
The Emerald of the Jungle at last.
