Notes About The Poem

''Emerald Green Forest''

In the morning because I was mourning, I went into the forest green; Oh, lush the emerald caress, That wrapped its arms around; my soul. And here, I rested and could hear the birds, Singing me a sweet melody; Chirping and twittering in unison, I became lost in their song; and tranquility. The gentle wind blew, and the sky was blue, Cotton clouds drifting so lazily by; And I felt so peaceful and quiet, Forest fairies came gliding; and whispering. ______________________________ March 18, 2016 Poetry/Verse/"Emerald Green Forest" Copyright Protected, ID 16-1094-432-0 All Rights Reserved. There is nothing like walking alone in the woods to clear your mind. Nature can cure alot. Congrats on your win!

Hello Dear Heart … your poem has that healing factor about it, and I often wonder why people suffering anxiety aren't taken to these natural places for a few hours. It is not a cure but does provide a calming atmosphere - thank you Dear Heart - Lindsay

Nature is the medicine that cures our heartaches, soothes and tranquilizes. This beautiful poem has the same effect on me, Constance. ~ Regards // paul

It's so easy get lost in the beauty of nature, Dear Heart, and your lovely poem takes me to that special place in the forest where I sit waiting for the forest fairies to arrive. Brian will enjoy this one too. Best wishes in his contest. Sending love, Carolyn
